Many new tiles such as granite and slate available now
In this article we describe why we are now expanding our online shop with many new and attractive tiles and skirtings and even a new surface.
Our tiles and skirtings are always available
All the tiles and skirtings we offer are permanently available. There are many online shops that have marble tiles or granite tiles in their range. It’s just that you can’t always order them directly. And that is exactly what distinguishes us from the other suppliers. Our tiles and skirting boards are always available.
Many different types of stone
In the past, tiles were called granite and marble. Since granite and marble are also types of stone, some companies came up with the idea of naming them hard stone and soft stone. This avoids a typification that is not entirely correct.
Granite tiles as a generic term for hard stone are also classified under different types of stone. In our online shop we offer tiles made of anorthosite, migmatite, gneiss, syenite, monzonite, gabbro, actually also granite and many other rock types.
What is new
The biggest difference is that we now have hard stone tiles in our range. The beautiful natural stones are from countries like Norway, Ukraine, Finland or Brazil. Tiles like Volga Blue Extra Dark, Arctic Blue or Labrador Antique are a miracle of Mother Nature.
Besides the normal formats 30,5 x 30,5 x 1 cm / 61 x 30,5 x 1 cm / 40 x 40 x 1 cm and 60 x 40 x 1 cm it is also possible to get tiles in the format 60 x 60 x 1,2 cm. You can request these by mail.
The new patinated surface
Besides many new tiles, we now offer the new patinated surface for the hard stone range. This new patinated surface is first flamed and then brushed. It often has a matt glossy appearance. As always, this depends on the composition of the minerals and their distribution.
Due to its treatment, the patinated surface has a higher slip resistance than, for example, a polished or brushed surface.
The other surfaces we offer are polished, honed and brushed, as with the soft stones or marble tiles. We have already described more detailed information in the article “3 beautiful surfaces that suit every living style”.
