You choose the <strong>material<\/strong>, the <strong>format<\/strong> \u2013 for example 30.5 x 30.5 cm, 61 x 30.5 cm or 40 x 40 cm \u2013, the <strong>surface<\/strong> (polished, honed or brushed) and the <strong>laying pattern<\/strong>: straight joint, half bond or third bond. Every change is applied to the room straight away, so you can see immediately whether a floor looks calm or lively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:38px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-border-s\">Change the perspective or simply watch<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:8px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-border-s\">You can look around the room: move closer, step back, turn the viewing angle or switch between the standard, bird&#8217;s-eye and worm&#8217;s-eye view. If you do not click anything, a short automatic tour of the room is shown. The icon in the top right switches the showroom to full screen \u2013 which is worth doing, because the larger the area you see, the better you can judge the effect of the stone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:38px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-border-s\">Straight from the tile into the room<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:8px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-border-s\">You will find the showroom in the menu under <em>Service \u2192 Showroom<\/em>. It is even quicker from the shop: tiles that are already available in the showroom carry a small <strong>3D symbol<\/strong> in the top right of the product image \u2013 both in the <a href=\"https:\/\/colourofstone.com\/en\/shop\/\">shop<\/a> overview and on the product page. One click opens the room with exactly that tile. And if you add tiles to your wish list using the heart, they are offered to you directly in the showroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:38px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-border-s\">Not all tiles are included yet<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:8px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-border-s\">For a natural stone to look real in a room, a product photo is not enough. Every tile needs a specially prepared surface: a seamlessly repeatable texture that reproduces the colour, veining and structure of the stone at the correct scale \u2013 separately for each type of surface. We prepare this stone by stone. That is why the showroom starts with a <strong>selection of our natural stones<\/strong> and we are adding more step by step. You can tell which tiles are already included by the 3D symbol in the shop \u2013 the selection keeps growing, so it is worth looking again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:38px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-border-s\">Colours on screen remain an approximation<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:8px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-border-s\">Natural stone is a natural product: colour and veining vary from slab to slab, and every screen displays colours slightly differently. The 3D view helps you with format, laying pattern and overall effect \u2013 for the final decision on colour we still recommend ordering a <a href=\"https:\/\/colourofstone.com\/en\/magazine\/sample-tiles-to-touch\/\">sample tile<\/a> in advance and looking at it in daylight where it is to be laid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:38px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-border-s\">Still growing \u2013 we welcome your feedback<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:8px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-border-s\">The showroom is new and will be developed further: more materials, additional rooms and further settings are in preparation.
