Marble Tiles

Marble tiles combine timeless elegance with the unique character of genuine natural stone. Every tile is one of a kind: veining, grain and colour play have formed over millions of years and make every floor and wall unmistakable. Our range includes classic Italian marbles such as Bianco Carrara, Arabescato and Botticino as well as warm beige and strong grey tones – with polished, honed or brushed finishes and in large formats up to 100 x 100 cm.

Whether as a bright marble floor in the living area, an elegant wall covering in the bathroom or a prestigious entrance area: marble creates a calm, high-quality atmosphere and adds value to your property. If you would like to buy marble tiles, we are happy to advise you personally – and with our sample service you can check colour and finish comfortably at home.

Buying marble tiles – what matters

Three factors determine the result when choosing marble tiles: the type of marble with its colour and veining, the format and the surface finish. Large formats from 60 x 60 cm make rooms appear calmer and more generous because fewer joints interrupt the surface. Smaller formats suit angled layouts and walls. As marble is a natural product, we recommend checking the effect on an original sample first.

Where to use it: bathroom, kitchen and living areas

The bathroom is where marble shows its strengths: floor, wall and shower can be designed from a single material and appear as if cast from one mould. For shower areas we recommend honed or brushed finishes, which offer noticeably more grip than polished surfaces. In living and dining areas a marble floor creates an elegant, bright atmosphere and feels pleasantly warm in combination with underfloor heating – natural stone conducts heat excellently. In the kitchen, marble works well for floors and walls; splash areas should be carefully sealed, as the material is sensitive to acids.

Finishes: polished, honed, brushed

A polished surface brings out colour and veining most strongly and reflects the light – ideal for prestigious areas. Honed marble has a silky-matt, more natural appearance, while brushed surfaces offer a slightly textured, velvety feel. For heavily used floors and wet areas, honed and brushed finishes are the more practical choice.

Caring for marble tiles

Marble is easier to care for than its reputation suggests: regular mopping with clean water or a pH-neutral stone cleaner is all it needs. What matters is sealing after installation, which closes the pores and prevents staining, and avoiding acidic cleaners such as vinegar or citrus products. This way your marble tiles keep their beauty for decades – marble is one of the most durable floor coverings of all.

Häufige Fragen

Are marble tiles suitable for the bathroom?

Yes, marble is a classic choice for bathrooms. For showers and wet areas we recommend honed or brushed finishes, as they offer more grip than polished surfaces. The stone should be sealed after installation so that water and cosmetics cannot penetrate the pores.

How do I care for marble tiles correctly?

Mop regularly with clean water or a pH-neutral natural stone cleaner. Avoid acidic products such as vinegar or citrus cleaners and abrasive powders – they attack the surface. Sealing after installation provides additional stain protection.

Is marble suitable for the kitchen?

As a floor covering, marble is perfectly suitable for kitchens. Surfaces in direct contact with acids (e.g. lemon, wine) should be sealed, and spills should be wiped up promptly.

Which formats are available?

Our range extends from classic formats such as 30.5 x 30.5 cm and 61 x 30.5 cm to large formats such as 60 x 60, 80 x 80 and 100 x 100 cm. Matching skirting boards and outdoor slabs are available for many marbles.

Can I order a sample first?

Yes. For almost all marbles you can order an original sample and judge colour, veining and finish at home in your own light. The sample price is refunded as a voucher with a later order.
